The house stands on the pedestrian street, a few steps from the historic Town Hall Square. Its name comes from a photography studio that operated here around 1900. An inscription in the hallway still records it.
The Vinoteque “Kabinett” and bakery “Banketērija” are on the ground floor. Town Hall Square, cafés and restaurants are just outside. The building has no lift. The pedestrian street can be lively on weekend evenings.
