Reaching Kuldīga
By car
Kuldīga is about 150 km west of Riga — roughly a two-hour drive. Both houses have easy parking nearby.
By coach
Coaches run regularly from Riga International Coach Terminal to Kuldīga, a journey of about three hours. The bus station is a short walk from both houses.
By air
The nearest major airport is Riga International Airport (RIX). From there, reach Kuldīga by rental car or coach.

Getting your keys
Before arrival we send clear directions and how we'll meet you to hand over the keys. We stay reachable if anything changes en route.
Early or late arrival
If you're arriving early or late in the evening, let us know in advance and we'll do our best to arrange it.

Kuldīga by season

- Fish leap the Venta rapid on their spring run — watch it a few minutes' walk from both houses.
- Summer
- Open-air cinema evenings in the Town Garden, and swimming at the Blue Flag Mārtiņsala beach, 400 m away.
- Autumn
- The fish run returns at the rapid and the Venta valley turns to autumn colour — the old town at its calmest.
